Monday June 27 Capt Fuss ran our harbor trip out of Charleston today and they caught 3 flounder, 1 redfish and a bunch of bluefish and spanish mackerel.  I fished with long time client Capt John Forbes who owns a great charter company in New York " Times Two Charters", took him and his son Jack to the reef and they caught: 7 flounder, 5 big sharks, small cobia, weakfish, and a bunch of blues and seabass.

Tuesday fished out of Folly Beach and caught a mess of slot size redfish using popping corks

Wednesday fished out of the harbor and caught about 25 trout.

Thursday fished a double out of Folly, 1st trip caught 2 redfish and 12 big sharks ( biggest 100 pound spinner), afternoon trip 5 sharks, 3 big reds, 2 flounder and a trout to complete the slam.

Friday a double out of Kiawah morning trip over 40 trout and 2 sharks, afternoon about 20 trout plus tons of lady and bluefish.  

 Monday fished with a group out of kiawah and they caught 3 redfish, flounder, and 10 sharks ( 3 of sharks were over a 100 pounds)

Tuesday fished a double out of Charleston Harbor and 1st trip they caught 7 big sharks and 3 redfish over 20 pounds, second trip caught 6 big sharks and a 32 pound redfish.

Wednesday bite was good, morning trip caught 25 trout, 2 redfish, and 5 bluefish.  Afternoon trip caught 6 reds, 30 trout, 1 flounder, and 2 bonnethead sharks.

Thursday all 3 boats in action Capt Fuss and Hoppy ran harbor trips with plenty of trout, reds and sharks.  I fished out of Kiawah with good friend Chris Mevers who took some relatives out for some saltwater inshore fishing.  We crushed the redfish and they caught over 30 with 6 fish over 10 pounds.

Friday all three boats in action again all three caught double digit reds and trout.

Saturday I fished with a group at nearshore reef and they caught tons of seabass, 12 redfish, and 7 sharks.

Sunday fished out of Charleston Harbor with Andrew and he caught 8 redfish and 3 flounder.

 Monday we caught 6 flounder and 3 trout .  Tuesday Ran a shark trip in morning and caught 10 nice sharks, that afternoon we caught 40 pound redfish and 7 sharks.  Wednesday morning trip caught 7 redfish and 2 flounder, afternoon  caught 16 redfish, 7 trout, and a bunch of ladyfish.  Thursday- Sunday ran shark fishing trips and number went down but size went up.  Average trip caught 6 sharks but most sharks were 5-7ft, also jumped 2 tarpon.  Highlights 100 pound blacktip, and 8ft bull shark.

 Monday all three boats in action Fuss had a teaching charter out of Folly and they caught 21 redfish, and 2 ladyfish.  Hoppy ran a shark trip out of Charleston Harbor and they boated 30 sharks, I fished out of Kiawah and we caught 2 reds over 20 pounds and 6 sharks.

Tuesday Capt Hoppy fished inshore with regular client Gary and they boated 15 redfish, I helped another captain with a reef trip and my group caught about 25 spadefish, 1 barracuda, and tons of seabass and bluefish.

Wednesday myself and Capt Fuss fished out of Kiawah/ Folly area and my boat caught 5 big redfish, 5 sharks, and 3 flounder.  His boat caught 15 sharks with a big 6ft finetooth.

Thursday and Sunday I ran fly fishing trips and caught 2-3 reds on the fly each trip big fish was 11 pounds.

Saturday took some kids to fish the reef and they caught 30 pound cobia, 20 spadefish and about 50 seabass.

 Mostly fished out of Kiawah Island and Folly Beach the first week of June.  First half of the week we ran shark fishing trips which were 2-4 hour trips and we caught anywhere form 2- 31 sharks per trip.  Biggest this week was 7ft Bull . Thursday fished with some regular clients and bite was slow but fish were bigger.  They caught 8 reds between 7-9 pounds, some 3-4 pound ladyfish and a 4 pound trout, along with about 10 bluefish.  Friday I ran a fly fishing trip from Kiawah and my guys boated 2 reds and a trout on the fly, then we switched to bait and caught 6 more reds, dozen trout, and some ladyfish.  Saturday June 4th Capt Fuss ran our harbor trip out of Charleston and his group boated 50 trout, 12 bluefish and 10 sharks.  I fished the IFA Redfish Tour and we caught about 20 reds  and finished 5th place out of about 75 teams.  Sunday back to shark fishing and Capt Hoppy put it to them with about 35 sharks in 5 hours.

 Monday I fished with a group out of Kiawah and we got a good mixed bag mostly 3-4ft bonnethead , and sharpnose sharks with a few nice sheepshead.

Tuesday I fished out of Kiawah and my clients got on a good trout bite with over 30 sea trout, 3 ladyfish, 2 blues and 7 nice sharks. Capt Hoppy fished the Harbor and his group caught 31 redfish.

Wednesday we fished out of Folly Beach with Justin, they caught some big fish today with: 2 flounder, 3 reds, 2 trout, 2 big bonnethead sharks

Thursday I ran a shark fishing trip out of Kiawah Island , my group caught 21 sharks in 3 hours, with 2 almost 6ft.

Friday we ran 2 fly fishing trips in Charleston Harbor, both trips caught reds on the fly.

Saturday I ran a fly fishing trip out of kiawah Island, we saw plenty of fish but only one 12 pounder wanted the fly, and a fe more on lures

 Monday May 16th had a group that wanted larger fish so we fished the Charleston Jetties and they caught a 22 pound redfish, flounder, few bluefish, 6 large sharks and few sting rays.

Tuesday we all fished with some regular clients today.  Capt Hoppy fished with my buddy and CF Redbone angler Ned, the trip started slow but kept them out a little longer and ended the trip with 12 nice redfish. Capt Fuss fished with a group staying on Kiawah Island and they boated a good mixed bag. I fished with long time regular Dr Christine, she caught 3 nice reds in the 10 pound range , 6 sharks, 6 big ladyfish and a few bluefish.

Wednesday I fished out of Kiawah and my group caught 15 black drum, a 4 pound trout, and 6 big sharks.

All 3 Affinity boats had doubles on Thursday all boats had a good mixed bag of: redfish, trout, black drum, and sharks. Highlights for the day Capt Hoppy 26 pound red, Capt Fuss 6ft bull shark, my clients 9 reds over 10 pounds.

Friday May 20th Capt Fuss ran a trip in Charleston harbor with trent and they caught a bunch of sharks in 3-5ft range and a few flounder, I fished with a group at Kiawah and we fished the Nearshore Reef and they caught 40 spadefish, and 1 twenty pound red.

Saturday I had a Skeet Shoot Tour, and Capt Hoppy fished a double in the Charleston Harbor.  His first trip was a little slow but got the inshore slam with a trout, red, and flounder.  His afternoon trip heated up and they caught over 30 redfish.

 Tuesday May 10th ran a 2 hour shark fishing charters today and my group caught 12 bonnethead sharks on crabs and shrimp.

Wednesday in morning fished my friend and guide from Cali RJ Waldron.  We went to the reef and got a mixed bag.  Mixed bag of bottomfish and 6 nice sharks with a acrobatic blacktip. That afternoon took another group bacj to the reef and they caught 50 seabass, and about 20 spadefish.  Capt Fuss ran a fly trip out of Charleston and they caught 2 nice reds on the fly.

Thursday we fished out of Folly Beach in the morning and I had a big group trip at Kiawah in the afternoon.  That morning we crashed the reds, trout and flounder in the Folly area, that afternoon Capt Fuss and Hoppy fished flats boats and each caught reds on the fly, I took a group to the reef and they caught 25 spadefish and 35 seabass.

Friday fished with Rick Yourman out of Charleston and the trout bite was on, he boated 22 trout, 2 reds and 2 flounder. 

Saturday I fished out of Charleston and my gruop wanted to target larger fish, they boated 5 large sharks ( biggest was 100 pounds) and a 28 pound redfish. Capt Fuss fished with RJ around Kiawah and he caught some big bonnethead sharks, ladyfish, and 2 flounder.

Sunday Capt Hoppy fished with DNR lawyer and his family and they caught 16 nice redfish.

 Ran a couple of skeet shooting tours on the water for corporate groups.  Fished with a few regulars this week and caught : reds, trout, flounder, sharks , and sheepshead.  Water is starting to warm up and we are using more live bait than artificials. 

 4/25 fished out of Kiawah Island and went to the reef, highlights were 5 huge weakfish, and 2 10 pound black drum.

4/26 went back to the reef in 30ft of water and my group boated over 100 seabass, 10 weakfish, and big black tip shark.

4/27 Capt Julian ran a double inshore in Kiawah River morning trip was loaded with bonnethead sharks, and afternoon trip they caught a 15 pound red, 7 pound black drum, 2 bonnetheads, and a bunch of bait stealers.

4/28 wind was blowing 30-40 making it tough to fish but group wanted to go and Capt Fuss scratched out a few redfish and some small bait staelers. 

4/29 all 3 boats in action today Capt Julian and Fuss ran trips in Charleston harbor and got a good mixed bag of : reds, trout, and flounder, and we did the same at Kiawah.

4/30 ran a couple of shark trips with plenty of bonnethead action around low tide, and few bulls plus a blacktip.
