inshore and reef
3/29 ran 2 trips today first was slow with only 2 redfish, but the afternoon bite got better on next trip and they caught 15 redfish and a trout
3/30 fished with a group from kiawah today and caught 26 sheepshead and 3 nice redfish
3/31 fished with Jay at the reef and they caught about 30 bigger seabass, 10 sharks, and some grunts
4/1 fished with Tim lawson and he boated 12 nice redfish
4/2 fished with Rich dixon and son at the reef and they caught about 70 big seabass and some ring tales
4/3 back to the reef and my group caught 80 seabass and a few sharks

late march charleston redfish bite
3/23 fished North of Charleston with Warren and he boated 31 redfish from 2 -13 pounds
3/24 bite slowed down and saw tons of fish but only 2 nice reds ate the bait with Blake
3/26 fished with Warren again from earlier in the week and things got better he boated 45 redfish sent him home with sore arms
3/27 nothing like yesterday only boated 2 trout

mid march fishing in charleston and kiawah
3/15 had the pleasure of fishing with NFL kicker Matt Stover and family today in the morning, his youngest boy caught most of the fish. Day totals were 3 nice reds, 1 8 pound fish with a tag and 13 sheepshead. Fished that afternoon and caught 15 sheepshead and 2 black drum.
3/17 fished 2 trips today morning trip was a little slow with 2 red fish and 2 sheepshead, but afternoon trip was good with 17 sheepshead and 10 redfish with 4 over 10 pounds.
3/19 ran 2 trips at Kiawah today am trip fished inshore with 4 redfish and 15 sheepshead, and the afternoon we hit the reef and the boys stop counting when they boated 100 fish most were seabass, sharks, and sheepshead.
3/20 fished the harbor and caught 4 big black drum and a redfish

Early March and inshore and reef fishing
3/2 I fished with Kip Lowrie and he boated over 20 redfish most were in the 2-6 pound range.
3/6 Capt Richard ran a sight fishing trip in the harbor with Mike and dylan Healey they saw tons of fish but only managed to get 1 nice 11 pound red in the boat.
3/8 and 3/9 we ran trips in the bay boat out to the nearshore reef. 3/8 we fished with Chris Nadler and they boated about 50 nice seabass and 10 sharks, the next day we fished with Tyler Carhan and got 20 seabass and 15 sharks. They to home some nice seabass for a fresh fish dinner.
3/11 fished with Jonas and David a little North of Charleston and they blistered the redfish boated about 30 with many in the 10 pound range plus 2 trout.
3/12 I fished with group at Kiawah today and we caught 12 redfish with 3 over 10 pounds and 3 big black drum.

Winter sight fishing Feb 8th, 18th and 24th
2/8 fished the flats of Kiawah River today and got 2 redfish on fly ( 4 and 9 pounder). Then tucked back in a creek and caught 15 on Zman grubs with Pro Cure. ( biggest fish was 11 pounds)
2/18 fished with outdoor writer Jeff Dennis, check out his website lowcountryoutdoors.com. Was windy so we tucked into the creeks to try and get some reds to bite for a few good pictures. Started slow but ended good with about 18-20 redfish with biggest being 8-9 pounds. Jeff is a great guy and fun to fish with make sure to look for his articles in Moultrie News and South Carolina Sportsman. Water was 46.
2/24 fished with Capt Geoffe today and managed 2 on the fly, water was 51.

2/4 what a day
Fished a trip out of Kiawah with Bernie Kitimer from GA. Start a little slow but took off to be the best winter charter that I have ever had. Mostly using Gulp jerk shad and ZMan chatter bits he caught 55 redfish from 2-17 pounds, he even left me catch 2. We left them biting with soe fore arms. Posted a picture of the big red on Facebook under Affinity Charters

1/26-1/30
Tuesday 26th went to Trident Banquet and Affinity Charters took home quite a few awards. Top Offshore charter boat, Top Inshore and Offshore Ecology Charter Boat, Fly Angler of the year, plus 4 other Ultra Light and Fly Awards.
1/28 fished with Brent and Jake needed some photos for Kiawah Island, trip started slow and windy with only 1 bite in 3 hours, but the next hour and a half made up for it. We caught 23 redfish from 2-11 pounds mostly on Zman ultra shrimp.
1/29 all 3 Affinity Charters boats ran a group trip at Kiawah temps dropped and wind was blowing but the total for all 3 boats ( me, John F, and Richard) were :45 sheepshead, 3 redfish, and 2 black drum.

1/9-1/16 Reds
1/9 helped George Poveromo host the Saltwater Sportsman Seminar Series and had a blast with George and his crew as always. Good crowd today with about 400 people.
1/12 fished with a single client today Tim, water and emos are cold with water temps around low 40's, fish were hungry but didnt want to fight that much, some pictures on facebook affinity charters. Tim caught about 10 nice redfish on the flats all fish 3-10 pounds and water was 42.
1/16 fished with David Merline at Kiawah today and with the cold weather thetrip started slow but ended quite well, first 3 hours 0 fish last hour caught about 20 redfish 4-7 pounds.

12/22-12/31 good redfish bite
12/22 I fished with a group out at Kiawah and the redfish were hungry. My group boated 26 redfish most were 3-6 pounds, along with 3 sheephead and 2 black drum.
12/26 I fished at Kiawah and we had a good mixed bag fishing around docks and deeper water structure. They boated 17 red fish, 9 trout, 6 sheepshead, and a flounder to complete the inshore slam.
12/28 Capt John Friel ran a trip from Mt Pleasant on moonday with the Morrison family. They had a great time and boated 25 redfish of mixed sizes biggest was about 13 pounds.
12/31 fished North of Charleston with Tim Tobin and he boated 15 redfish with 2 of them being over 15 pounds.

12/15-12/20
Tuesday 15th Capt Richard fished with long time customer Andrew Finley, they caught a mess of trout and redfish for a good day, mostly on live bait and DOA shrimp.
Saturday had 2 trips first with Chris Long and the bit was slow they did manage to boat 3 nice trout but we fished hard for those fish. 2nd trip was a different story fished with Ken and his wife and the redfish bite was much better. They boated 16 redfish over 8 pounds and a hand full of smaller reds as well. Fish were holding tight to structure.
